Decorated Nesting Box

Hi Everyone

Sorry haven't posted but have been on holiday in the Isle of Wight with my mum, my children and my special niece. Special because I was there when she was born. I absolutely love the island. A dear friend of my mum's lent us her house for the week. The children had a fab time playing on the beach every day, mind you we did make them walk about 4 miles every other day and they didn't winge about it at all. In fact they loved it as they explored on the way.

Something different today, a decorated nesting box. I really enjoyed making this. The idea came from a lovely lady called Val at Snazzy's in Swindon. Fabulous shop full of stamps! Well worth a visit.
The box was painted using Acyllic paint and the beautiful papers are Prima Botanicals as are the flowers. Before decorating the box I distressed them using Tim Holtz Walnut Stain.

I have added a brad to the flowers and some embellies to the lid.

Sorry about the colouring but the papers are Green rather than Duck Egg.

Hi Sonia, Thank you for your lovely comments, it is called a Nesting Box because there are about three boxes stacked inside each other, obviously all different sizes ready for you to decorate.
