Daisy with Flower

Hi

What a cold day it was yesterday! I travelled to Sandhurst in Berks to see my mum & the temperature was least 16 degrees, beautiful sunshine absolutely no coat needed, then on the way back home I just watched the temp go right down to 7.5 Needed coat, gloves etc. What an East/West divide.

Today I have for you a card I have made for my mum for Mother's Day. I have used a digi stamp from Digi Boutique. They are so cute. I am really loving Digi stamps at the moment.

Papers : Dovecraft Glamour Sheets
Butterfly : Martha Stewart Punch
Die : Tim Holtz
Cardstock : Bazzill
Colouring Medium : Copics & Prisma Pencils
Embellishments : From stash

I have also added Glossy Accents to the flower and her eyes to make them stand out, not that it shows up very well in the picture.

That's it for today. Please feel free to leave any comments as I love reading them and appreciate you taking your time to do so.

Take care

My stash from the 'Make it' show

Hi Everyone

Forgot to post this, my treasures I purchased from the 'Make it' show a couple of weekends ago. (some other papers I purchased are missing from piccy)
I went with my twin girls and right at the last moment (an hour before) my sister decided to come with us, which was so wonderful as I love spending time with her.

We met up with some Blogland buddies, Vicky, Teresa, Denise & Louise which was fab.

I can't wait for the NEC in November, planning it aleady! mind you would love to go to a couple more in between.

Bye for now

Valentines Card

Hi Everyone

And a big hello to my new lovely followers, thank you for following me.

Today I have a card that I made for my daughter to give to her 'boyfriend', a cute one as she is only 12, nearly 13. (young love) She was really pleased with it. I have used a stamped image from LOTV that came free with a magazine. So a bonus really.

Papers ~ Tracey Porter 'Sweet Heart' Double sided
Image ~ LOTV
Card ~ Kraft card
Colouring ~ Copics & Prismacolour pencils
Ribbon/Embellies from my stash

I have also distressed the edges of the papers and card with Walnut Stain, I am so loving that look at the moment.

Please feel free to leave any comments as they are always appreciated.

Hope you are having a lovely day.

Have fun.

Lovely Ladies

Hi Lovely Followers,

Today I have decided to have a go at making a stamped and embossed card. I stamped the images on plain card then embossed with clear powder. (hasn't come out in the picture)
For the background I used a couple of Tim Holtz Distress Inks. Then I used one of the colours to stamp a floral design behind.

I didn't have any black pearls so I coloured them with a black Copic pen, unfortunately I was a little impatient as you can see from my card and one of them wasn't dry so it smudged!!

Well that's it for today, so have a good one.

Any comments you leave are always greatly appreciated.

Princess Tilda

Hi Everyone

A post at last! Other half has had to reload my computer as I was having lots of problems with it. It was so slow! I could have vacuumed the whole house in the time it took for it to bring anything up! Moan over.

A very belated Happy New year my lovely followers. Lets hope it's a good one.

For my first card of the year I have chosen a Magnolia stamp called
Princess Tilda. Such a cutie.

Treasure Chest

Hi Everyone

At last I have been able to post, my computer is still playing up!
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas, I did, spent it with friends on Christmas Day, then with my family on Boxing day.

So onto my creation!

For my nephew Joshua's Christmas present I made him a Treasure Chest. I painted it with brown acylic paint, then added some Doodlebug paper which I distressed first. I also used Inka Gold in Silver for the metal look edging. For the inside I reinforced the hinge with Bazzill cardstock, then I added a Decoupage embellishment, tissue paper and lots of chocolate coins.

Hope you like, Josh was really pleased with it.

Anyhow, have fun and enjoy the Christmas celebrations. Please feel free to leave any comments as I love reading them. I will be visiting your blogs very soon, I promise.
