Hi Everyone
This is a card that I made quite a long time a go. I made one each for my twins birthday. The dollies were made using Quickutz dies. Such fun to make.
Well that's it for now. Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Decorated Nesting Box
Hi Everyone
Sorry haven't posted but have been on holiday in the Isle of Wight with my mum, my children and my special niece. Special because I was there when she was born. I absolutely love the island. A dear friend of my mum's lent us her house for the week. The children had a fab time playing on the beach every day, mind you we did make them walk about 4 miles every other day and they didn't winge about it at all. In fact they loved it as they explored on the way.
Something different today, a decorated nesting box. I really enjoyed making this. The idea came from a lovely lady called Val at Snazzy's in Swindon. Fabulous shop full of stamps! Well worth a visit.
The box was painted using Acyllic paint and the beautiful papers are Prima Botanicals as are the flowers. Before decorating the box I distressed them using Tim Holtz Walnut Stain.
I have added a brad to the flowers and some embellies to the lid.
Sorry about the colouring but the papers are Green rather than Duck Egg.
Thank you to everyone who has left comments on any of my creations. I really do appreciate them and love reading them. You are all so kind!
Take care

Ps: Eileen, yes the dollies are made up of different quickutz dies. Pilgrim 0772, Angel 0591, Mrs Claus 0390, Swimsuit 0363, and People DS15. XX

Funky Boy's Card (blue)
Hi Everyone
Firstly thank you for all the lovely comments you have left. I love reading them and they give me so much encouragement to carry on.
Something slightly different this time. The lovely Val from Snazzy's in Swindon(you have to visit this store, stampers heaven!) talked me through how to do this and here is the result:
I really enjoyed making this card and it was quick and easy but very effective. Great for teenagers. Tomorrow I will post another of the same design but for a girl this time.
We had some bad news on Tuesday, our lovely cat Molly has a tumour in her abdomen. The vet said there is nothing they can do and to make a decision as to when we have her put to sleep in weeks rather than months. She has lost so much weight. The children are so upset as they have grown up with her.
Well that's it for now. Please feel free to leave any comments I do appreciate them.

The Little Things
Hi
Back again this time with a card that someone has asked me to make for a Ruby Anniversary so I thought I would use a Lili of the Valley stamp called 'The Little Things' as it is such a cute stamp.
Magnolia Doohickeys were used for the flowers, edging and leaves. I have used quickutz photo corners and glittered them up with Stickles along with the flowers. The papers were from my stash as well as the embellishments. I wanted an aged look to the papers and Adage ticket so I did this with Tim Holtz Distressed Ink pads as well as the sentiment for which I printed from my computer. All the colouring has been done using Copics.
I have now bought a book on using Copics but have yet to pick it up from the shop I ordered it from. Mind you I would much rather go on a course to perfect it. Maybe one day.
That's it for now. Please feel free to leave comments, it is very much appreciated as any crafter will tell you! Take care.
