Hello Everyone

Firstly I would like to say  a big 'Hello' to my new followers.

It has been a hectic week or so as my 11 year son Sam bruised his Coccyx at football training (he did a sliding tackle) He woke up the next day in floods of tears as he couldn't get out of bed, as he was in so much pain. Sam still can't sit down properly and has to use a cushion. I went into school and sorted out a teacher's chair for him to sit on in class as he was using two small plastic ones (having to sit on his side) and was very uncomfortable, coming home worse than when he went in.
The doctor said it will take a least a couple more weeks to get better. I can sympathise with him as I badly bruised mine many years ago and it took months to get better, in fact I couldn't even pick up my newborn baby at the time.

Anyhow onto my card, I have used a fabulous digi image from Mo Manning, I just love her work.

Something a little different!

Hello Everyone

Today I have something a little different for you.

I have used a couple of Inkylicious Stamps which I love. While I was at the 'Make it' show in Farnborough the lady on the Inkylicious stall showed me how to get this effect with these stamps, so I thought I would have a go. I have two ink pads from Impress that I haven't used in ages, so using my ink dusters I applied them to some card, very effective. I have also added some stickles to some of the leaves for a bit of bling.

Shy Girl

Hi Everyone,

I am so sorry but I have been a very bad blogger by not posting for a while, so here goes:

Today's card has been made using a digi image from Mo Manning called 'Shy.' So cute! I have used Prima papers which I love, inked the edges in Tea Dye and added lots of Stickles (not showing up very well in the picture) I have also used Copics and Prisma Pencils to colour the image.

Well that's it, off to have a long soak in the bath! The children are on their half term this week and next, so Aimee is having a tooth brace fitted on Thursday at the hospital. Girl with Present - Pink

Hello Everyone,

I am back at last with a card, I have completely lost my mojo!

Anyhow onto my card, I have used a cute stamp from Lotv called 'A special gift'  I can't remember the papers I have used, but I have used some Memory Box dies and Stickles and have inked the edges of the papers etc. in Walnut Stain.

For this card I have used a Die Cut, I love this image and will probably invest in it as a digi, such gorgeous colours, not sure if I can make it look as good as this though!

Baby Boy ~ Lotv

Hi Everyone

Well only two more sleeps until Christmas Day!

I have just arrived back this evening from my parents house in Sandhurst (Berkshire) as I have been helping my dad fit a new kitchen. I made up 18 base and wall cupboards, a lot of hard work but I love this sort of thing. The kitchen won't be finished by Christmas but will be usable! And it will look fab also when finished!

As I have been away I haven't been able to finish the last of my present shopping, so tomorrow I will have to brave the shops or Gord won't being getting anything!
We are at home for Christmas the five of us and Gord's brother, then off to Mum & Dad's for Boxing day. Can't wait! Love Christmas!

So onto my card, I have chosen an Lotv image which is so adorable, and have used First Edition papers called ' Up, up and away' which are also gorgeous.
